Luke, the author of Acts, opens this book by stating that the Gospel of Luke was about all that Jesus “began to do and teach” until His ascension. Acts is the continued story of Jesus’ work by the power of the Holy Spirit in and through His followers in the first 30(ish) years of the early church.
